jac-seed can plant a defect, block its promotion, and reward a catch. It cannot tell you how often to seed, how much of a reviewer's time the exercise may consume, or how fast a person must step in when somebody escalates a plant as though it were real. Getting these wrong turns a mechanism meant to reward craft into one that wastes it. Nobody owns them yet.
